PHOTOGRAPHIC NOTE

The overwhelming majority of images in this publication were photographed by Dale Elliott, initially with 35mm SLR, and latterly with digital, cameras.    iT-Design, who constructed the programme and attended to the lay-out, have used the latest scanning and digital equipment to capture as much clarity as possible from an array of photographs of mixed quality, spanning a time of 40 years.    Where a photograph would have lost its tone or colour balance we have not digitally enhanced same, but have left it in its, somewhat darkened, original state.
